Araria Tractor Accident Claims Three Lives, Ten Injured

A devastating accident unfolded Tuesday in the Araria district of Bihar when a tractor carrying agricultural laborers overturned on a rural road near the western bank of the Parihari distribution canal. Three women were among those pinned and died as a result of the crash. The incident also injured more than ten male laborers, who were rescued by local residents and rushed to the health centre for treatment. Investigators are checking if the tractor was overloaded beyond its permissible load and have cited brake failure as a likely cause for the tragedy.
