In a bold stride towards technological leadership, Bihar unveiled its dedicated pavilion at the India AI Impact Summit and Expo 2026 in New Delhi on Tuesday. Held at Bharat Mandapam until February 20, the event has become a magnet for global innovators since PM Modi’s inauguration on the 16th.
Leading the inauguration were Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, Minister Dilip Jaiswal, and Shreyasi Singh, the state’s sports minister. Through this platform, Bihar is flaunting its AI capabilities and unveiling policies like the Bihar Semiconductor Policy 2026 and GCC Policy 2026, aimed at luring investments from top tech firms worldwide.
The summit buzzes with international flair, boasting delegates from 13 nations such as Japan, the UK, Germany, and African countries. Structured around ‘People, Planet, and Prosperity,’ it hosts 300+ pavilions and showcases from 600+ startups unveiling cutting-edge AI innovations.
PM Modi’s address on the second day struck a chord, urging the fusion of intellect, logic, and societal benefit in tech research. Referencing ancient wisdom, he outlined the pillars of wisdom: keen listening, deep understanding, rational analysis, and sound judgment.
For Bihar, this is more than an expo—it’s a declaration of intent to transform into Eastern India’s AI powerhouse. Analysts predict these initiatives will catalyze job creation, skill development, and industrial growth, propelling the state into a new era of innovation and prosperity.
