Bihar Police Probe Fatal Motorbike Crash Between Baghini and Bahdura Villages

A fatal motorbike accident in Camur district, Bihar, prompted an immediate investigation by local law enforcement on Friday. The crash, which happened on the road linking Baghini and Bahdura villages near the Natinia Mai Temple, claimed three lives and injured two others.

The victims have been positively identified as 20‑year‑old Vikas Kumar (alias Vikas Chaudhary), 18‑year‑old Bittu Kumar, and 16‑year‑old Dilkhush Rai, all hailing from Baghini village. Vikas was the son of the late Avdhesh Chaudhary; Bittu and Dilkhush were respectively the sons of Ramashankar Chaudhary and Jaanu Rai.

Family members disclosed that the three youths were traveling to the Mohania block for an errand when their motorcycle collided head‑on with another bike coming from the opposite direction. The impact propelled both motorcycles into a pothole filled with standing water on the roadside, where they were spotted by villagers.

The onlookers immediately reported the incident to the authorities and informed the relatives. Police from Mohania Block arrived promptly, securing the scene and transporting the three deceased to Bhubhua Sadar Hospital for post‑mortem procedures. The two injured riders received treatment at Mohania Sub‑District Hospital.

Relatives of the deceased have appealed for financial compensation, stating that the sudden loss has left them in a dire economic situation. Deputy Superintendent of Police Dyanand Kumar stated that both motorcycles are being examined for technical faults or violations, and that further information will be released after the forensic analysis and autopsies are finalized.
