Kayakalp portal unveiled to track rural schemes

The Kayakalp portal, introduced during the service pledge ceremony, offers a real‑time view of the status of schemes under rural development, health, social welfare, panchayati raj, urban development, education, and SC/ST welfare.

Through the portal, officials can log completed tasks, monitor ongoing projects, and flag delayed works. A companion mobile app provides field staff with on‑the‑go access, enabling quicker updates and faster decision‑making.

The state expects the digital tool to cut administrative lag, improve transparency, and accelerate the closure of minor but critical infrastructure gaps across all 38 districts.
