Singh argued that the chief minister, who also chairs multiple public corporations, bears ultimate responsibility for the inflated contracts.

The MP highlighted a specific case where dustbins and medical equipment for government hospitals were purchased at rates twelve times higher than market prices. He urged a forensic audit of all health‑sector purchases and demanded that the responsible parties be held accountable.

Singh concluded by emphasizing that the public's trust in state hospitals is eroding due to these financial irregularities, and that transparent investigation is essential to restore confidence among Bihar's poorest patients.
