In a boost to Bihar's policing capabilities, the state government has sanctioned administrative approvals for eight new thana buildings spanning multiple districts. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary shared the news, framing it as a pivotal advancement in fortifying law enforcement. Detailed budgets reveal investments for Patna's NTPC Baad (Rs 8.75 crore), Purnea's Madhubani (Rs 5.23 crore), and Araria's Palasi (Rs 8.74 crore), among others.
