Community Kitchens Serve Over 120,000 Flood Victims in Bihar

The state has mobilised a fleet of 1,158 boats to facilitate evacuations and improve movement across inundated areas. Additionally, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has deployed 27 teams and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) seven teams to the hardest‑hit districts. These units are coordinating with local officials to reach stranded populations quickly.
