Bihar Aspirants Stage Walkout Over Unresolved Competitive Exam Disputes

A wave of discontent swept through Patna as candidates for the 70th BPSC and the Daroga recruitment exam converged on the capital's main avenues. The protesters, many of whom have been waiting months for results, accused the authorities of ignoring evidence of malpractice. Police intervened at JP Golambar, setting up a barricade that halted the march. Undeterred, some activists scaled the barricade, raising slogans against the government. The crowd then attempted to proceed toward Dak Bangla Chowk, only to be stopped again. The demonstrators stressed that the Economic Offences Unit’s inquiry must culminate in the cancellation and re‑conduct of both exams, and they called for an expedited schedule for pending BSSC examinations.
