Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary Announces Major Agricultural and Education Plans

Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary used the Monday cabinet session to unveil a comprehensive roadmap covering agriculture, livestock, dairy, and higher education. The plan includes a new sugar processing plant in Warisaliganj that will inject more than INR 500 crore into the local economy and restore sweetness to the region’s sugarcane output. A dedicated Go‑Dhan Development Loan Scheme will subsidise interest on loans for farmers rearing three‑breed cattle or two buffaloes, aiming to increase milk yields and farmer incomes. The dairy push in the Kosi region comprises eight projects with a total outlay of INR 126.07 crore, targeting the creation of 500 cooperative societies and modern chilling infrastructure. Additionally, the state will establish Maa Sita Women University in Patna and Ramdhari Singh Dinkar University in Begusarai, each receiving administrative approval for staff salaries and related expenses.
