Bhiwani Erupts in Anger Following Death of Young Teacher; Internet Shutdown Implemented

Public outcry has erupted in Bhiwani, Haryana, following the death of a 19-year-old teacher. The widespread anger prompted the suspension of internet services in Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri for a 48-hour period. The deceased has been identified as Manisha, whose body was discovered in a field on August 13th. Manisha had been reported missing since August 11th after leaving her school to inquire about admission to a nursing college. Concurrently, in Karnataka, a separate incident resulted in two fatalities and five injuries when a private bus collided with a road divider in Haveri district.
