‘Bharat Jodo’ Logo Chosen Through Statewide Contest Highlights Youth Participation

Karnataka’s “Bharat Jodo” movement received its official logo on Friday after a rigorous, state‑wide design contest. Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara announced the winning emblem, emphasizing the role of public participation in its creation.

The contest attracted 255 entries from across Karnataka, each reflecting the campaign’s goal of uniting young citizens, promoting social harmony and encouraging responsible civic behaviour. The Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath conducted a transparent assessment, shortlisting two standout designs.

These two concepts were then blended, preserving the strongest visual elements of each, to produce a singular logo that embodies the spirit of unity, collective ambition and youth involvement.

Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar highlighted that the logo is more than a graphic; it is a symbol of the people’s collective aspirations and a rallying point for the nation‑building efforts envisioned by the “Bharat Jodo” initiative.
