Bangalore Police Detain Weapon Trafficker After Gunfire Injures Suspect

During a pre‑dawn operation in Bengaluru’s Bandidipalya precinct, police encountered a man carrying a firearm without a license. The suspect resisted arrest, brandishing the weapon and discharging it toward the officers. Acting on the threat, Sub‑Inspector Sachin fired a warning shot that struck the suspect’s leg, incapacitating him.
