In a fiery address from Lucknow, UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya dismissed West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s strategies as ineffective, prophesying a resounding BJP victory in the upcoming assembly elections.
Maurya pointed to the success of voter list revisions in boosting turnout in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry. ‘Clean rolls mean higher, more genuine participation. Bengal and Tamil Nadu will follow suit with record voting,’ he predicted.
Aligning with PM Modi’s pointed remarks, Maurya lambasted Banerjee for patronizing illegal immigrants. ‘Power-hungry, she’s converted Bengal into a refugee camp, displacing locals and fueling chaos.’
The deputy CM raised alarms on the law-and-order breakdown. ‘Crimes, especially against women, have skyrocketed—incidents too horrific to describe. BJP stands committed to restoring safety and progress.’
He also hailed Bihar’s Nitish Kumar’s entry into Rajya Sabha, noting his vast experience across legislatures. ‘His contributions have been invaluable; more to come.’
Maurya was unequivocal about the electoral outcome: ‘No agenda of Mamata Didi will work in 2026. The masses are set to evict her. BJP has won hearts and will secure 200+ seats, ushering in a new era.’
With BJP intensifying its campaign, Maurya’s words underscore the party’s optimism and strategic focus on Bengal’s pressing issues.
