From bridge to community halls: Development drive in Bankipur detailed
Patna, July 28 – BJP’s top leader Nitin Naveen visited Bankipur on Tuesday for a public interaction campaign, laying out the party’s development record and future roadmap ahead of the July 30 polls.
He began by acknowledging the 20‑year journey that began with his father’s efforts in the area. “The people of Bankipur have made it possible for me to serve at the national level while staying rooted in local issues,” he said, noting that many families in the town now count his relatives among their neighbors.
The candidate representing the party this time is Neeraj Kumar Sinha, a youth leader who has worked from the grassroots level, served as mandal president twice, and continued to educate children despite limited family resources. Naveen expressed confidence that Sinha will keep the momentum of growth alive.
Among the projects Naveen spotlighted were the completed bridge at Meethapur that connects residents with Patna, the newly constructed streets alongside the large drainage canals in wards 25 and 26—now called Naveen Sinha Path—and the creation of a new park in an area previously constrained by land scarcity. He also referenced the double‑deck bridge facilitating access to PMCH, over 19 community centres built across the city, and broader initiatives such as the satellite city, upgrades to Patna Airport, and the iconic Marine Drive showcase.
Naveen called on the electorate to reject divisive politics and to support the NDA’s vision of inclusive governance. He urged women and youth to stand together, promising that the next administration will prioritize self‑sufficiency, empower mothers and sisters, and sustain the development trajectory for Bankipur.
