Bangalore rally sees police detain ABVP members amid recruitment controversy

A large gathering of ABVP volunteers converged on the KPSSC premises in Bangalore on July 30, demanding answers over a purported ₹80 million bribery scheme tied to the recruitment of 400 veterinary officers. The crowd alleged that the commission's chairman had been suspended following the leak of examination papers.

The protest escalated when participants tried to force entry through police‑set barricades, leading to a brief altercation and the detention of several activists.
