Azamgarh Set for Social Harmony Rally Amid Rajbhar's Warning

A political war of words has intensified ahead of a major rally in Azamgarh. Om Prakash Rajbhar, the SBSP leader and Uttar Pradesh minister, has thrown a challenge at Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav by announcing a Samajik Samarasta Maharally in the city on November 29.

According to Rajbhar, the rally will be held at the ITI ground in Azamgarh and will display the solidarity of non-Yadav backward classes and the wider Bahujan community of eastern Uttar Pradesh. He said the gathering would give a clear signal about the changing political mood in the Purvanchal belt.

Addressing Akhilesh Yadav, Rajbhar claimed that the so-called imaginary strongholds of the Samajwadi Party were falling one after the other. He said Kannauj had already shown the trend, and now Azamgarh was going to witness the same fate. He added that the true picture of the claims made in the name of PDA would emerge on November 29.

Rajbhar also mocked the opposition leader by suggesting that he record the rally and see for himself how his fortress was being shaken. He said Dalits, backward classes and especially the non-Yadav OBC population would come together at the event to raise their collective voice.

He urged leaders who talk about the PDA formula to recognise the strength of Rajbhar, Nishad, Chauhan, Prajapati, Patel, Pal and other non-Yadav castes. Rajbhar alleged that these communities were being remembered only during elections and said such politics was now coming to an end.

He concluded with the slogans 'Jai Bharat, Jai Shri Ram, Jai Parshuram, Jai Shri Krishna and Jai Maharaj Suheldev'.
