Focus on Auto, Electronics and Healthcare as Yamuna Expressway Authority Boosts Industrial Hub
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority took a significant stride on June 30 by handing out Letters of Intent (LoI) to eight investors poised to set up large‑scale industrial units in Greater Noida. The ceremony, led by CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh, also saw participation from senior officials and the investment cell’s nodal officer.
Collectively, the sanctioned projects account for an estimated INR 3,181.20 crore in capital infusion and are expected to generate about 18,126 direct jobs. The venture portfolio spans automotive components, electronics, medical devices, food processing, cosmetics, printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication, and steel furniture manufacturing.
The crown jewel of the package is Madrasan International Ltd, which has been allocated a 50‑acre parcel in Sector‑8D to establish an automotive component plant with a projected investment of INR 1,156 crore and the creation of roughly 8,000 jobs.
Other key allocations include: - Balr Marketing Pvt Ltd – 8 acres, INR 300 crore for an integrated smart electrical manufacturing and export unit (≈1,500 jobs). - Triveni Almari Pvt Ltd – 10 acres, INR 375 crore for steel cupboards and furniture production (≈458 jobs). - Anandit Healthcare – 8 acres, INR 500 crore for medical and healthcare glove manufacturing (≈750 jobs). - Crispy City Foods Pvt Ltd – 4 acres, INR 122 crore for food processing and packaging (≈4,000 jobs). - Innovex Products LLP – 3 acres, INR 140 crore for a similar food processing unit (≈2,000 jobs). - AG Organic Pvt Ltd – 3 acres, INR 259.90 crore for cosmetics and personal‑care items (≈1,118 jobs). - Apar InfraTech Pvt Ltd – 2.5 acres, INR 29.30 crore for PCB and electronic component manufacturing (≈300 jobs).
CEO Singh highlighted the authority’s commitment to delivering a transparent, swift, and industry‑friendly environment. He stressed that the new investments will not only accelerate the region’s industrial development but also provide a massive employment boost for the youth of the area.
