Authorities Seize Cash and Vehicles in Bhilwara Betting Bust

In a coordinated effort on June 29, the District Special Team and Badliyas police officers raided a gambling den situated approximately 150 metres off the highway in Swaiypur, Bhilwara. The operation culminated in the seizure of cash amounting to ₹1,31,590, two automobiles, and an array of gambling equipment including decks of cards.

Police officials explained that the urgency of the raid left no time for obtaining a formal search warrant, as they feared the gamblers might scatter. Constables Sandeep Kumar and Shravan Kumar were directed to the scene, where they swiftly surrounded the farmhouse before forcing entry. While a handful of participants tried to escape by breaking through walls, nine were detained and taken for questioning.

The investigation, now registered at Badliyas police station, will focus on tracing the financial flow from the busted betting pool and identifying any additional operatives who might have facilitated the operation from outside the farmhouse.
