Authorities Raid Across Delhi, Haryana, UP to Locate Owner Hariram Bansal

In a coordinated effort to capture Hariram Bansal, the owner of the collapsed hostel in Satyanaiketan, law enforcement agencies have conducted simultaneous raids in three states – Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The raids are part of an intensified manhunt triggered after a lookout notice was circulated.

Police officials disclosed that the owner is suspected of flouting safety norms while allowing the structure to operate as a paying‑guest accommodation despite ongoing renovation in the basement. The FIR lodged against Bansal and others cites negligence that led to the fatal collapse.

Special task forces, comprising district police, senior staff and officials from various municipal and safety departments, have been deployed under the leadership of an Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police. Senior officers are continuously supervising the operation and ensuring inter‑departmental coordination.
