Authorities Destroy 10 Quintals of Synthetic Paneer in Etah Raid

On October 9, a joint task force from the Uttar Pradesh food safety headquarters and the Etah district office carried out a surprise raid on Sapna Dairy located on Barther Road. The operation uncovered about 10 quintals of synthetic paneer, one quintal of ghee and 40 quintals of cream, together with large quantities of adulteration ingredients such as 96 kg of skimmed milk powder, soybean bags, refined palm olein tins and ranipal oil packets. The paneer failed quality checks and was demolished on the spot by creating a pit with heavy machinery and filling it with the cheese. The remaining adulterants were securely sealed, and ten distinct samples were collected for laboratory examination. Further legal action awaits the lab’s findings.
