Authorities Close Registrations, Urge Pilgrims to Return Home

Registration for this year’s Amarnath Yatra has been suspended. No new devotees will be permitted to travel toward the Kashmir Valley. The administration clarified that only the escort groups tasked with bringing pilgrims back to the valley will be allowed to move. All other pilgrims have been asked to leave the base camps and head back to their residences.
