District administration in Gaya announced heightened safety measures as the pilgrimage crowd swelled. The District Magistrate inspected Vishnupad Temple, its surrounding precincts and the temporary fairgrounds, directing staff to monitor crowd movement, provide water, and assist senior and vulnerable devotees. A senior pilgrim from Madhya Pradesh received personal assistance after feeling unwell in the dense queue.
