Authorities Arrest Two Suspects Linked to Fatal Ahmedabad Firecracker Plant Explosion

Police identified two individuals as key players in the illegal fireworks operation. Amit Kumar Modi, a resident of Satayagrah Society opposite the Satellite Police Station, is alleged to be the license holder and primary operator of the enterprise. Kishan Patel, 29, from Dahiagamda village in Bawla taluka, was present at the site and is accused of managing the warehouse and overseeing stock. Both have been charged and their cases forwarded to court. The investigation continues to verify the legitimacy of the licence, assess the authorized storage capacity, examine building plans, and evaluate compliance with mandatory safety standards.
