Austerity Measures: Bihar Ministers Opt for Motorcycles

Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal to save national resources, Bihar ministers Kumar Shailendra and Dilip Kumar Jaiswal have voluntarily trimmed their official facilities. Shailendra now uses a bicycle or motorcycle for his commutes several times a week. He described this as a vital move to shield the nation from economic volatility caused by global energy shortages. Shailendra argued that domestic fuel price hikes are modest compared to international trends and accused the opposition of making it a political issue. Minister Jaiswal linked the global oil crunch to geopolitical conflicts involving the US, Iran, and Israel. He emphasized that the government is managing the economy well despite these external pressures. On the NEET scam, the ministers confirmed that the investigation is dismantling the network and stricter exam formats are being considered. They also noted that new evidence is helping the courts understand the historical truth of the Bhojshala-Kamal Maula site.
