Assistant engineer of TSGPDCL caught taking Rs 1.2 lakh to approve new meters

In a separate case, the ACB arrested Pandala Sandhya Rakesh, an assistant engineer with Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSGPDCL), for demanding one‑point‑two lakh rupees to fast‑track approval of six new electricity meters. The money was recovered during the raid, and the officer was placed in judicial custody.
