Assam Development Model Cited in Reply to Naseeruddin Shah

Dibrugarh (Assam), October 31: Assam Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) state president Ahmed Ali Ayyubi has invited actor Naseeruddin Shah to visit Assam and witness the development work taking place under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Ayyubi said that large-scale development projects are underway across the state. New bridges are being constructed, and several new factories are being set up in different areas.

He said the progress in Assam could serve as an example for the entire country. According to him, the work being done in the state deserves wider recognition.

Ayyubi offered that if Shah comes to Assam, he would personally arrange a tour of the entire state so that he could see the projects firsthand. He stressed that every comment on a public issue should be based on an understanding of ground realities.

He also appealed to the actor not to draw children and students into controversial debates. In his view, young people should be allowed to focus on their education and future, and distracting students from their studies is not appropriate.

Ayyubi added that public support for the government in Assam is visible in both development work and election outcomes. He said that to understand the changes taking place in the state, Shah should visit Assam and see the actual situation for himself.
