An Indian Army soldier’s swift medical intervention saved the life of an 8-month-old infant who experienced a severe medical emergency on the Rajdhani Express. The incident occurred on October 13, 2025, as the train traveled towards Dibrugarh. Sepoy Sunil, an Ambulance Assistant with the 456 Field Hospital, was on his way home from leave when the crisis unfolded in S4 compartment around 4:30 PM. The baby suddenly stopped breathing and became unresponsive, plunging the compartment into a state of panic. The infant’s mother, overwhelmed with shock, also fainted, intensifying the distress among passengers.
