Army Chief Awards Veteran Warriors with ‘Yoddha Service Honour’

During the same tour, General Dhiraj Seth honoured a select group of former service members with the newly instituted “Yoddha Service Honour”. The ceremony recognised their contributions to nation‑building, environmental stewardship, youth empowerment, and community service. The Chief praised the lifelong bond between the Indian Army and its veterans, stating that the spirit of sacrifice continues to inspire the active force. He urged the veterans to remain engaged with the armed forces and highlighted the government’s commitment to their welfare.
