Apply Now for Spices Board Development Trainee Jobs – 21 Open Seats for SC/ST

An exclusive recruitment drive for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates has been launched by the Spices Board. A total of 21 Trainee (Development) vacancies have been advertised across its regional network: three in Gangtok (FO Sukia Pakri, DO Kalimpong, FO Gijsing), six in Sakaleshpur (FO Vanagur, Nursery – Yashloor, Nursery – Beligiri, FO Sirsi, FO Madikeri, Nursery – Bettadamam), five in Guwahati (DO Aizwal, FO Senapati, FO Dimapurc, FO Zeroch, FO Roing) and seven in other offices (RO Guntur, RO Nizamabad, FO Jagdalpur, FO Koraput, RO Mumbai, FO Padderu, FO Patna). Applications are to be submitted through the Board’s website no later than 19 Oct.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, botany, microbiology or biotechnology and have working knowledge of computers. The age ceiling is set at 35 years, calculated from the date of the written examination.

The selection framework consists of document scrutiny, a written/walk‑in test (including a computer‑skill assessment), and final verification of certificates. Successful trainees will receive a monthly stipend of ₹20,000 plus other allowances.

Walk‑in tests are scheduled between 22 Oct and 31 Oct, with the exam starting at 11 am; candidates should report at 10 am for document verification. The training tenure is two years from the joining date.
