Sashastra Seema Bal has released an official advertisement to fill 50 Constable (General Duty) tradesman vacancies. The force is looking to recruit personnel for specialized roles including tailoring, cooking, barbering, laundry services, gardening, and other support functions essential for border security operations. Category-wise distribution shows 38 unreserved, eight Scheduled Caste, and four Scheduled Tribe posts. Offline applications began on 22 May and will close on 20 June. Interested candidates are urged to submit their forms well before the last date to ensure successful registration. Minimum educational qualification required is matriculation or its equivalent. Applicants must also meet the prescribed physical and trade skill criteria. The maximum age permitted is 35 years calculated as on 1 January, although age relaxations apply for candidates belonging to reserved categories. The recruitment process comprises Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, written exam, Detailed Medical Examination, Review Medical Examination, document scrutiny, and preparation of the final merit list.
