Apply for NIA Jobs: ASI, Head Constable and DEO Vacancies

The National Investigation Agency has invited applications for 111 posts on deputation, offering an important opening for eligible government employees and graduates. The vacancies cover Assistant Sub-Inspector, Head Constable and Data Entry Operator positions.

According to the official notification, there are 23 posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector, 53 posts of Head Constable and 35 posts of Data Entry Operator. The application process for all these posts is being conducted offline and started on October 21.

The last date to submit applications is December 20. Candidates are advised to ensure that their forms reach the designated address within the given deadline.

Educational and experience requirements

For Assistant Sub-Inspector, a graduation degree from a recognised institution is mandatory, along with at least two years of experience in criminal investigation, intelligence work, operations or information technology management.

For Head Constable, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination.

For Data Entry Operator, eligible candidates include officers of central or state governments, public sector undertakings and autonomous government institutions who hold equivalent regular posts in their parent cadre or department. An 'O' or 'A' level certificate in information technology is required.

Age limit

All posts carry a maximum age limit of 56 years. The age will be calculated based on December 20, 2026, the last date for application submission.

Salary and selection

Selection will depend on application scrutiny, document verification and merit. The salary for Assistant Sub-Inspector and Data Entry Operator posts is set between Rs 29,200 and Rs 92,300 per month, while Head Constable posts offer between Rs 25,500 and Rs 81,700 per month. Other benefits and allowances will also be available.

Steps to apply

Candidates should first visit the official NIA website and go to the recruitment section. They must open the notification link for the relevant post, download the application form and take a printout. After filling in all required information and attaching the necessary documents, the form should be sent in an envelope by post to Deputy Inspector General (Administration), NIA Headquarters, Opposite CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003, on or before the last date.
