New Anti-Cheating Law Enables Swift Justice in NEET Examination Paper Leak

A recently passed anti‑cheating statute empowers authorities to pursue swift legal action against individuals implicated in NEET paper‑leak conspiracies. The law stipulates that any conviction will attract a maximum sentence of five years' imprisonment coupled with a fine of ten lakh rupees. Four First Information Reports have already been lodged under this provision, prompting the creation of fast‑track courts in the jurisdictions of Bombay, Calcutta, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh. These courts are designed to handle the backlog of cases pending before high courts, delivering expedited hearings and prompt judgments to safeguard the credibility of India's competitive examinations.
