Amar Pal Maurya Calls Out Rahul Gandhi’s Appeal to OBC Unity

Amar Pal Maurya, the BJP OBC front’s national president, responded to Rahul Gandhi’s recent appeal urging OBCs to unite against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Maurya said the OBC community is no longer a naïve voter base that can be easily swayed by partisan statements.

He reminded the Congress of its long tenure in power and asked it to present a record of achievements for the backward and poor sections instead of using OBC issues as a campaign prop.

Citing Rae Bareli as an example, Maurya questioned how many families have benefited from Congress‑led development during its prolonged rule. He demanded the party show concrete data before laying blame on the current government.

The BJP leader concluded that the OBC population across India is increasingly aligning with the development-oriented programs of the Modi government, which promises a progressive India by 2047.
