Alleged Attack on Student Federations Sparks Legal Action in Pathanamthitta

A legal proceeding has been initiated in the Pathanamthitta district after Youth Congress operatives were allegedly involved in a physical assault on DYFI and SFI leaders at Adur General Hospital. The dispute, which began in the towns of Adur and Ezhamkulam, escalated when a convoy of four vehicles allegedly approached the hospital’s casualty section. Witnesses say the assailants interrogated the victims about their affiliation with DYFI or SFI before launching a brutal attack involving batons and foot strikes. The police report names Rahul Mamkootthil as the chief suspect and records the involvement of 20 unknown perpetrators.
