Akilesh Calls for Unified Victory Against Communal Forces
Lucknow – On October 4, Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav used his X account to address the ongoing controversy over seat allocation among alliance partners.
He wrote, “When the purpose is transparent, cooperation is effortless; when the gaze is fixed on the target, the journey becomes simple.” Yadav made it clear that the coalition’s priority should be a shared triumph that defeats communal politics.
“Again, we repeat: the issue is not the seats, it is the win,” he declared. The SP chief highlighted that a joint victory would represent a broader struggle to prevent any resurgence of sectarianism, protect democratic institutions, uphold the constitution, and preserve reservation policies.
With the Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly elections looming, Yadav’s message seeks to move the debate away from ticket numbers and toward a collective strategy designed to restore harmony and progress across the state.
