Ajay Rai demands action on Haldauni caste controversy

During a press briefing, Rai demanded that the names of the accused in the Haldauni "purification" case be made public and that they be taken into custody. He said the incident shows the BJP government is backed into a corner and is trying to deflect criticism by focusing on identity politics rather than delivering on promises of infrastructure, jobs and affordable prices for the people of Uttar Pradesh.
