Air Traffic Control and Weather Stations to Enhance Flight Safety

The chief secretary called for immediate completion of air traffic control (ATC) installations at major pilgrimage sites, with support from the state, manpower and technical expertise from the Airport Authority of India. He also instructed the Meteorological Department to set up automatic weather stations and PTG cameras throughout the state, aiming for ATC saturation and safer aerial travel across Uttarakhand's challenging terrain.
