Air Quality Remains Moderate in Delhi NCR as Clouds Persist Early September

Alongside the cloudy weather, air quality measurements in the Delhi‑NCR region show relatively stable conditions. In Noida, monitoring stations reported AQI values of 60 at Sector‑125, 47 at Sector‑62, and 89 at Sector‑116, indicating moderate air quality.

Gaziabad stations recorded AQI levels of 51 at Govindpuram, 32 at Indirapuram, 60 at Loni, 31 at Sanjay Nagar, 48 at Vasundhara, and 88 at Ved Vihar‑Loni. These figures suggest that the air remains within acceptable limits for most locations.

Delhi’s own monitoring points show a mixed picture: the Cantonment area logged an AQI of 36, CRRI Mathura Road 42, DTU 47, Bawana 56, Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range 65, Commonwealth Sports Complex 67, and Chandni Chowk 82. However, higher pollution levels were observed at Burari Crossing (107) and Aaya Nagar (203), underscoring that air quality is not uniform across the city.

Overall, while clouds continue to dominate the sky, the prevailing moderate AQI values provide a relatively healthy breathing environment for the population.
