Air India’s new international fuel surcharge rates for October 2026

In addition to domestic adjustments, Air India and Air India Express have revised fuel surcharges on a handful of international routes. The airline set a surcharge of USD 215 for flights to North America, USD 210 for Australia, USD 135 for the United Kingdom and other European destinations, and USD 55 for West Asia and the Middle East. These figures reflect the airline’s effort to balance higher fuel expenses with competitive fare structures on long‑haul services. The surcharge will be added to the ticket price at the point of sale for bookings made after the October 9 deadline.
