Eligibility and Salary Details for AIIMS Patna Senior Resident Jobs

AIIMS Patna has outlined clear eligibility norms for the 68 Senior Resident vacancies. Applicants must hold a recognized MD or DNB degree in the specific discipline for which they are applying. Registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the respective State Medical Council is mandatory.

The age ceiling is set at 45 years as of 31 August 2026. Candidates belonging to reserved categories (EWS, OBC, SC, ST) will receive age relaxation in accordance with government regulations.

The selected residents will receive a fixed salary of INR 67,700 per month. In addition, they will be eligible for standard medical allowances, travel subsidies, and other benefits applicable to AIIMS staff.

All applicants must bring both original documents and photocopies for the walk‑in interview, which will be conducted on 5, 12, 19 and 26 September at the institute’s administrative block.
