AIIMS Faculty Hiring Boosts Teaching, Research Capacity

The newly announced appointments cover 265 positions at AIIMS New Delhi and 199 at the AIIMS‑CAPFIMS campus, filling a long‑standing vacancy gap in more than 50 specialties.

With the influx of qualified faculty, the institute anticipates an immediate uplift in lecture quality, laboratory supervision and research output.

Students and patients alike stand to benefit from increased faculty‑to‑student ratios and the renewed research momentum that senior professors will bring.

The hiring drive, labelled one of the largest in recent years, underscores AIIMS' commitment to maintaining its status as a premier medical education and research centre.
