Pilot of AI, Robotics and Online Tools Expands to 5,000 Schools

Under the Tamil Nadu Spark Programme, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has already prepared bilingual textbooks for the pilot phase. The books cover topics such as generative AI, prompt engineering, large language models and AI‑powered generation of text, images and music. Learners will also gain practical experience with educational platforms like GeoGebra, Google Earth, PHET simulations, Stellarium and LibreOffice. Teacher training on these subjects will be delivered to mathematics and science educators in both government and aided schools.
