Agriculture Budget to Follow, Highlighting Farmer Support Plans
On Thursday, Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Minister R. Vinod will table a separate agriculture budget that focuses on the needs of cultivators, irrigation infrastructure, and rural economies. The session will present a detailed plan of the administration's strategies to boost agricultural productivity, improve water management, and provide welfare measures for farmers.
The agriculture budget is expected to complement the main fiscal plan by allocating resources for modern farming techniques, credit facilities, and market access initiatives. Minister Vinod is likely to respond to queries from opposition legislators and address sector-specific challenges raised during the debate.
Following the presentation of both budgets, members of the assembly will engage in a joint discussion, allowing for a holistic review of the state's financial commitments across all sectors.
