Aggarwal Calls for Strict Punishment Over Ram Temple Chadhawa Robbery
In an interview with IANS, Gopal Krishna Aggarwal expressed deep disappointment over the recent chadhawa robbery linked to the Ram Temple Trust. He described the act as a direct assault on the sanctity of Hindu worship and demanded that perpetrators face the harshest possible sentences.
Aggarwal highlighted that the Uttar Pradesh government, guided by an SIT report, has already arrested eight suspects and accepted resignations from senior trust members. He insisted that decisive legal action is the only viable path to restore confidence among devotees.
Referring to broader concerns, Aggarwal pointed out that financial lapses are not confined to the Ram Temple; similar issues have been reported at Badrinath and other religious institutions, including churches and madrasas. He urged political parties to refrain from exploiting these incidents for electoral gain, emphasizing that Hinduism should remain free from partisan manipulation.
