Adani Foundation Marks 30 Years with a Vision for Sustainable Growth

The Adani Foundation celebrated three decades of social impact at the AVPN Global Conference 2026 in New Delhi. Dr. Preeti Adani, the foundation’s chair, used the occasion to stress the importance of investing in young talent, women entrepreneurs and community‑level innovators as a catalyst for new development paradigms.

Addressing a gathering of about 2,000 delegates from 43 nations, she pointed out that no single entity can resolve the intricate challenges of today’s world. Instead, a network of shared learning, collaborative partnerships and the exchange of successful models is essential.

Dr. Adani praised the hospitality extended to global philanthropy leaders, noting that the world now views India and Asia as emerging centers of opportunity and growth. The foundation’s experience over thirty years confirms that lasting change emerges when communities are empowered to shape their own destinies.

From waste‑to‑energy projects in large cities to affordable water‑purification solutions in rural areas, Indian innovators are tackling a spectrum of issues—climate change, health access, agricultural productivity and more. The foundation’s reach now covers 7,200 villages across 22 states, positively affecting over 13 million people.

In tandem, the Adani Group announced a ₹60,000 crore commitment to health services, skill development and higher education, reinforcing a comprehensive development agenda. As India pursues the “Developed India 2047” target, Dr. Adani emphasized that true progress must translate into broader opportunities, improved living standards and self‑sufficiency for all citizens.

She concluded that the focus on youth, women, entrepreneurs and local communities not only propels India forward but also offers a replicable model for other nations in the Global South.
