AAP councillor accused in municipal worker suicide, BJP stages protest

Thousands of BJP cadres, joined by members of the Scheduled Caste, Youth, Farmer and Purvanchal fronts, converged at Windzar Place, chanting slogans against councillor Vijay Kumar. They accused him of coercing Deepak, a municipal cleaning employee, into taking his own life. After police attempts to block the march, the crowd moved forward, leading to the arrest of senior BJP figures. Chandolia warned that any injustice toward sanitation workers would not be tolerated and pledged to continue the agitation until the family receives justice.
