Based on the installed 3,000 MW of rooftop solar capacity, an average production of 4.5 units per kilowatt per day translates to roughly 13.5 million units of clean electricity generated each day in Uttar Pradesh. Valued at the benchmark tariff of ₹6.50 per unit, the daily revenue potential stands at about ₹8.78 crore, or nearly ₹3,202 crore on an annual basis. Actual generation will vary with sunlight, weather conditions, plant efficiency and tariff changes, but the numbers illustrate the massive economic and environmental impact of the rooftop solar push.
