The incident unfolded at 7:04 AM in a Ram Market building owned by local businessman Rajendra Kashyap. Flames originated possibly from the basement showroom selling clothes and cosmetics, rapidly spreading to family quarters above. Heroic rescuers extracted 10 survivors amid choking smoke and debris. Tragically, six lives were lost: adults Pravesh, Kamal, Ashu, and three minors aged 5 to 12 at Manipal Hospital.
