49 MSME units sign MoU, attract ₹2,320.97 crore investment in Chakan‑Bhosari

In a high‑profile event in Pune’s Chakan‑Bhosari zone, 49 MSME firms signed a memorandum of understanding that will bring fresh capital of ₹2,320.97 crore to the region. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis praised the agreement as a catalyst for expanding the industrial base, enhancing production capabilities and generating extensive employment opportunities.

The government has pledged swift approval of land parcels and essential utilities, ensuring that the projects do not face the delays typical of earlier agreements. Fadnavis also announced that the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation will oversee the rapid execution of the plans, targeting operational commencement within the next 12‑24 months.

This investment aligns with the state’s broader agenda to modernise decades‑old industrial zones, converting them into autonomous "industrial cities" that can sustain future growth.
