41,424 Aspirants Secure Posts in UP Home Guard Exam
A massive recruitment drive for the Uttar Pradesh Home Guard has concluded with the declaration of results. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board confirmed that 41,424 eligible candidates have been appointed to Home Guard positions across the state’s 75 districts.
The merit list, now available on the board’s official website, can be accessed by selecting the district‑wise list link. Candidates can search by district to confirm their selection status.
The enrollment phase began on 18 November 2025, drawing more than 2.5 million applications. The subsequent written examinations took place over three days—April 25, 26 and 27, 2026—in six shift patterns to accommodate the large applicant pool.
A total of 107,221 candidates were called for post‑exam document verification and the Physical Standard Test (PST) from 13 July to 7 August 2026. Women accounted for 8,280 of the successful candidates, reflecting a notable increase in female representation.
All selected candidates will now undergo training before being deployed to support district police units in maintaining public safety.
